Where we’re from…
Greenfield Capital was born out of a requirement for common sense underwriting in bridging, a need for excellent service and integrity. We saw a significant opportunity in the market with banks failing to support what could be classed as low risk propositions. Greenfield Capital set a vision that we would be recognised as a Centre of Excellence. We set out our service levels and our core values. We recruited a like minded team of professionals which now totals twelve. We value them and have created an environment of loyalty and integrity. One which is delivered through our service to our introducers and client borrowers.
What we’re about…
Unlike many lenders in the market today we are 100% privately backed and therefore do not have arbitrary strict criteria to satisfy. We are open to take a view on each proposal and always look to structure a facility where possible. With flexibility in our underwriting we are able to look outside the box which gives us an edge over many operators in the market today. Do not be fooled by empty promises from other lenders. We don’t profit from valuations and we don’t charge application fees therefore we always have an eye on completing the facilities we offer. We are proud that most of our business is from recommendations or from repeat clients returning for further borrowing, we’ve always believed that this is a true testament to doing what is right for our borrowers.

MEET THE TEAM
Our Board of Directors
Steve Smith – Chairman
Our Chairman Founded the retail chain “Poundland” and grew it into a household name. Steve sold Poundland in 2002 with in excess of 80 stores, turning over £186m pa. For the last 10 years he has successfully focussed on property transactions.
John Yates – Managing Director
Our Managing Director has 12 years commercial and residential property funding experience. John was responsible for managing the secured lending department of a high street bank and brings a wealth of experience in property underwriting.
David Grant – Operations Director
Our Operations Director held many senior management positions including Head of Operations in his 29 years in banking. David has considerable property funding experience in structuring propositions, underwriting and business governance.
Mark Smith – Director
Mark was European CEO for “Claires Stores” from 1996 to 2002 and grew the European business from 50 to 650 stores with profits of over £20m pa. He was also part of the team that took the business private in a £3.3 billion deal in 2007. During the last 9 years Mark has since focused on property investment.

Sunny has worked in banking and property lending for over 7 years. As well as managing a team, Sunny won national awards and was recognised for delivering superior lending, compliance and quality service.
Alex has worked in banking and property lending for over 6 years. Alex was recognised for his quality service generating significant repeat business and referrals.
Andrew has worked in banking and property lending for 9 years. As a former underwriter, Andrew is able to assess the best structure for each case which means that he is able to offer speedy service excellence in every proposition.
Charlotte has worked in banking and property lending for over 8 years. As a qualified CeMAP professional, Charlotte is a successful relationship builder and has worked with both SMEs to blue chip organisations.
Amardeep has worked in a service driven environment for over 12 years and recognises how to establish client needs and delivers exceptional service every time.
